Food for the Curious: Fermented Edition
Join Gerry Scullion, founder of King of Kefir, and Eoin Williams of Blas Cafe for an evening Science Week event bringing together food makers, tasters and scientists exploring the latest in fermented foods.
From Sauerkraut to Keifir, Kimchi and Komboucha fermented foods are making a fashionable comeback, and for good reason! Not just a tasty treat these foods and drinks are full of ‘good’ bacteria that not only tickles your taste buds but could also be key to digestive health, mood, behavior and your immune system.
Tickets include a selection of tasty fermented foods in tapas style as you explore the latest in food fermentation while we also meet the food makers, the scientists and the tasters looking to the future of food and the latest research on the benefits of fermented foods.
