StrongWomen Science is a circus science show from Circus 250, for children and families starring two scientists turned circus performers. Aoife Raleigh is an engineer, Maria Corcoran an environmental scientist. 

About Circus 250

Dea Birket of Circus 250 is a participant of the Prototype 2020 Open Call as part of the Curiosity Accelerator at The Festival of Curiosity. A programme for artists and designers to explore science, technology, and engineering as part of their creative practice.

Circus 250 is a non-profit dedicated to making circus with purpose and reaching new audiences in exciting and spectacular shows. Circus250 grew out of the UK and Ireland wide celebrations of 250 years of circus in 2018.

Science Week Ireland is a week-long event in Ireland each November, celebrating science in our everyday lives. Taking place in 2020 from November 8th to 15th the programme includes workshops, science shows, talks, laboratory demonstrations, science walks and other science-related events.
