Food for the Curious: Fermented Foods

Curious about fermented foods and drinks?  From Sauerkraut to Keifir, Kimchi and Komboucha fermented foods are making a fashionable comeback, and for good reason! Not just a tasty treat these foods and drinks are full of ‘good’ bacteria that not only tickles your taste buds but could also be key to digestive health, mood, behavior and your immune system.

Join us online as we explore the world of fermentation and the science of gut-friendly bacteria with Blas Cafe at the Chocolate Factory, drinks fermenter Gerry Scullion (The King of Kefir), and guest food scientist John Leech from APC Microbiome Ireland – Science Foundation Ireland’s Flagship Research Centre & global leader in microbiome science.
