Kaleidoscope
Join Filskit Theatre for a 30 minute live online concert exploring colour.
Blink again. What do you see? Day by day your world is filling up with colour, little one. Reds and blues, yellows and greens. Twinkling lights that glisten and gleam. Your reflection is staring back at you. Wide eyed and full of hope. Mirrors, lights, colours and sounds. The world is your Kaleidoscope.
Inspired by research into how a baby’s sense of sight develops and how they instinctively begin to categorise colour, watch as a multi-coloured Kaleidoscope is brought to life for you and your baby.
Adapted from the original theatre production, Kaleidoscope Concert features sounds from live musicians, visuals and sensory activities in order for parents and babies to explore colour together.
The concert will be hosted live on Zoom and the whole event will last 30 minutes, facilitated by a member of Filskit Theatre and feature musicians playing live for you and your baby.

About Filskit Theatre
Filskit is a Shetland word meaning “highly spirited, mischievous and excitable”. Filskit Theatre is an all-female company with a passion for performance and projection. We strive to create work that ignites the imaginations of young audiences and their families. With original music, wordless performances, shadows and magical lights, we create our very own Filskit blend of a show. At the heart of our work is our interest in technology and how it can be used to help immerse young audiences in the world of a story. We work with lighting, projection and puppetry to create a visual language that is both engaging and accessible. We place our young audiences at the centre of our devising process and strive to explore themes and issues that are relevant to them. Our past shows include Huddle and Breaking The Ice, co-productions with the Unicorn Theatre, Stella and our baby show, Kaleidoscope which we adapted into an online Concert during 2020.
